Dear Faculty Members,

Synchronous tools used in distance education activities of our university are available at https://odtuzem.metu.edu.tr/en/academic. Frequency of use for these tools, preferences of our instructors and license costs were re-evaluated. Accordingly, it was decided not to renew the license of the synchronous tool Blackboard Collaborate in the 2nd semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Alternative synchronous tools are listed on the relevant address and available for use.

Blackboard Collaborate software will not be available after "February 22, 2021", and it is important that our instructors save the videos they recorded on Blackboard Collaborate to their local computers.
